Masking content from your developers

You can customize both the InnerWorkings catalog and your custom catalog by hiding Drills, individual tasks, or even whole Developer Programs from your developers.

To mask a content item:

  1. In the left-hand pane of the Catalog tab, locate the content item you wish to hide by clicking the Expand icon to expand the relevant Developer Program or Drill. You can also use the search box to filter the content items.

  2. Click on the Program or Drill to open the Content Properties dialog.

  3. To hide the item, select the Exclude this content check-box. To hide an individual Task, select the check-box for the Task in the Masking section for the Drill. The item will appear grayed out, indicating that it is invisible to developers who view the catalog.

Note 1: When a Task or Drill is masked, a mask icon appears beside the Program title to indicate that the Program contains hidden content.

Note 2: Masks are inherited from your managers but cannot be edited.
